GM's new new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine will be standard in the MY2024 Sierra AT4X. According to the chief engineer “refinements of the 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine took an already awesome engine and made it even better for off-road applications.”

That's a great move for GMC to do. I'm curious to see tests between the Duramax Sierra AT4Xs and the V8 Sierra AT4Xs.

This is what I’m looking forward too! Getting this beast with a duramax should be fun! Hopefully 24’ ordering banks open up soon. Any clue on when they would open up?
